The Paddington Station ceiling. Every time I’m leaving London in the evening, I take a moment to admire it. It doesn’t work nearly as well during the day though.

Hawthorn flowers; I took this photo probably about a month ago, on a nice, warm late April day. Suddenly, it’s June – how did that happen? The half term was rubbish, weather-wise, and so I feel like I have missed those last days of spring and all the flowers are gone.

A side alley near Wigmore Hall; one of those glorious old Victorian corners one sometimes discovers in London. There used to be a convent here – I tried to find out what happened to it, but had little luck. King’s Fund occupies the premises now.
